Global Voices is a nonprofit, mostly volunteer community of writers and translators. Its volunteer writers report on conversations in their own regions, with an emphasis on voices missing from international mainstream media. Every story is checked by its editors, and stories can be translated into dozens of languages. If they publish your story, it can show up right here on Sidelines.
